Latasha graduated from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a concentration in International Business and World Trade.  Following her baccalaureate education, she moved back to NYC and fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming an educator.  She worked as a Vocational Studies teacher for high school students where she taught college prep courses and hosted college field trips to prepare and encourage inner city students to dream big.  However, the dream of becoming a lawyer never left her.  After moving back to Buffalo and taking a job as banker with HSBC Premier, she began to pursue that dream again.  As fate would have it, she not only achieved her dream but landed a scholarship to attend Florida A & M University, College of Law.  During her time at FAMU LAW, she would hold many leadership positions and be awarded various monetary scholarships.  Upon graduation she had the opportunity to attend University of Missouri Kansas City, Law School as an H & R Block Fellow in the LLM in Taxation program.  While completing her LLM she also worked for H & R Block world headquarters with the International Tax Team.  ​​

Latasha is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the United States Tax Court.   In keeping with being of service and involved in her community she is also a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, where she is on the Board of Directors.  She serves as a Board member and pro bono attorney for Represent We, a voter’s right not for profit organization in New York City.  Additionally, she has worked with Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, to assist reintegrated citizens with restoring their voter’s rights.  She is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International as well as a member of Alpha Beta Sigma Sorority, Inc.  Latasha also sits on an alumni board for her undergraduate alma mater.   Having been formally recognized by Senator Luis R. Sepulveda and The Council of the City of New York for her leadership efforts in promoting education and fighting for Voters’ Rights, Latasha is the consummate advocate, and she cannot wait to be an advocate for you.
